I am learning to look at the first and last sounds in words to help me work out new words

In Reading we have been learning lots of things to help 

us to work out new letter sounds and words.

"I like this book because Oscar finds a starfish" Hannah said.

I am learning to attempt to write my idea in a sentence that makes sense and re-read my story to the teacher

In Writing we have been learning lots of things like writing our ideas in a sentence and writing some sounds in words.

"I can sound out some words" Hannah said.

Rangoli Pattern

We have been learning about different celebrations this term.  This is my Indian Rangoli pattern.  We were learning to make our pattern look symmetrical.

"I was good at colouring in the white background and making my pattern look symmetrical."

Tens Frame

We have been learning to make patterns to ten on a tens frame.

"It was tricky for me to write the number 10 and to draw the pattern to 8."
